Author Spotlight: Tracy Weber with H.S. Clark at Left Coast Crime, Monterey, CA
I am a Pacific Northwest mystery author, too, so I was delighted to have the opportunity to interview fellow Seattle-ite Tracy Weber at the Left Coast Crime mystery conference in Monterey, California. Tracy has mastered the trend of unique genre mystery novels, blending Yoga and Dogs with a who-done-it. From an interviewer’s perspective, Tracy’s bubbling and energetic persona stole the show as she chronicled her frenetic trials and tribulations on the way to becoming a writer. When I heard she was a Yoga instructor and an author, I thought of quiet, flowing water, but instead found a raging river. Murder Strikes a Pose is her first book, but I could tell in our interview that Tracy has lots of stories dying to get out and become a part of her Downward Dog Mystery series. Tracy is a blessing to all dog lovers who like to curl up with their four-legged companion and a good mystery. Now we can follow the exploits and relationships of Tracy’s canine co-protagonist, providing a fresh point of view to showcase the spiritual bond between humans and their animal companions.
